Recording at Mix Factory One

Recording is the process of capturing the sounds and ideas in your mind and soul into a medium that allows you to share it with the world. Recording can involve a variety of things from transferring electronic sounds and information – typically called midi sequencing – to capturing live instruments and vocals with microphones.

These sounds are usually recorded within a computer program such as Pro Tools, where they can be saved and replayed. There are many factors involved in capturing a quality sound that can be blended with other sounds to create a song. Some of these factors include a proper acoustic environment, professional quality equipment and well educated and experienced operators (engineers).
